The purpose of treatment is to support this return to health through various techniques such as joint articulation, HVT articulation, cranial Osteopathy, visceral and soft tissue.
Osteopathy is used in the treatment of many issues including back and neck pain, sciatica, hip pain, frozen shoulder, repetitive strain injury, ankle or knee pain, arthritis, sinusitis, jaw pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, birth traumaIn infants colic/reflux, sleeping difficulties, constipation.
I qualified with a Masters of Osteopathy in 2012 from the British School of Osteopathy in London. Prior to this I trained as a yoga teacher and completed certificates in reflexology and Indian head massage. The choice to study Osteopathy was driven by an interest to learn more about the body. considers the body as a whole unit, this idea and the principles and treatment approach in osteopathy were very interesting to me. It is rewarding to meet people and endeavour in each case to set a specific treatment plan to support the individual in a return to optimal health.Since qualifying I completed further professional development in cranial osteopathy, visceral osteopathy, pregnancy and paediatric courses.
I worked in clinics outside of Dublin in the last 10 years in Mayo and Cavan and have been based in Dublin again for the last 2 years.Supporting women’s health, pregnancy and postpartum are areas of health that are of particular interest. It is always interesting to understand the healing journey for each individual
